Turn into the parking lot off Westheimer is maddening due to heavy traffic and selfish drivers, other than Plenty of parking, right next door to the Daiso Japanese Dollar Store( cutest store ever)
****There is a notice on the door due to COVID-19. You must contact your stylists so that can they can meet you at the door to let you in. The doors are locked until further notice.****,
I was melting outside the door ( 107 Farenheit) Thank God for the archway that was covered😓
The Salon itself has modern style and design. The hostess stand is encase in snow white marble and slate granite counter, a very elegant , contemporary feel.
As you walk down the two main hallways. You notice the chestnut colored sliding barn doors encased in wood with frosted glass allowing for privacy, as the access to each suite, the hallways lighting is very soft and unassuming ( studio lighting)creating a more relaxed feel.
There is a very contemporary lounge with plush chairs arranged in a cozy setting a with coffee bar area with white and beige marble countertops with a deep sink basin with a faucet and Keurig coffee maker, and microwave. Black metal chairs. A breakfast nook table in a gunmetal color with four high stools. Natural granite titles on the floor with soft lighting. Faux but nice succulents
Wanted to explore it more but sadly it was close due to Covid-19 restrictions and measures.
The restroom continues the white marble like color around the sink basins. 3 bathroom stalls. Nice and clean
Over all a calming spa like feel

Some of the business owners here are extremely unprofessional and loud. It's not the equipment that is the problem. The problem is that when some of the hair dressers do not have clients they walk back and forth to each other's suites have loud conversations and laughing with the door open. Some of them actually scream at each other from down the hall "WHAT DID YOU SAY!" They yell "BYE GIRL!" When they are leaving. I often joke that Tabatha could make a few of them cry by coaching them on being professional and respectful. I honestly don't think many of them recognize that there are multiple types of businesses in the building.
The place has no carpeting in the hallway so sound carries. The doors slide open and close leaving very large gaps for sound to come through. Even with that it's generally quite enough to perform relaxing massages and facials. Unless that handful of unprofessional hairdressers is around. They are good examples of idle hands are the devil's playground. They themselves are not loud when they are actually working.
If you are an esthetician or massage therapist rent a suite towards the back near the barbers. They are generally much more professional than the cosmetologist.
